Vertical Roller Mill(VRM)
1、 Equipment introduction
Vertical roller mill is widely used in the raw material grinding process. Raw materials input grinding table and are crushed and pulverized on it and transported to separator by kiln exit gas introduced into the mill as drying, transporting and separating purpose. The material can be: Limestone, calcite, dolomite, petroleum coal, gypsum, barite, marble , mineral , ore and etc. Our VRM provides a solution to the technical issues such as low output and high energy consumption in the industry. It is mainly comprised by segregator, grinding roller, grinding disc, pressure device, speed reducer, electromotor, shell, and more. The motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through the reducer and the material falls from the discharge port to the center of the grinding disc, and moves to the edge of the grinding disc under the action of centrifugal force and is crushed by the grinding roller. The crushed material overflows from the edge of the grinding disc and is simultaneously discharged from the nozzle ring (wind ring). The high-speed upward hot air flow is brought into the efficient powder separator integrated with the vertical mill. The coarse powder is separated by the separator and returned to the grinding disc for re-grinding. The fine powder is discharged with the air flow and collected in the system. Collected in the dust device is the final product. Coarse-grained materials not accidentally brought up by the hot air flow and accidentally entering metal parts sink from the wind ring, are scraped out by the scraper plate, and are fed into the mill through the external circulation bucket elevator to be grind again.
2、 Technical advantages
1. The total investment is greatly reduced.
The vertical mill system has a simple technological process, a compact layout, and occupies a small area compared to ball mill. The floor area is about 70% of the ball mill system, and the building space is about 60% of the ball mill system. Moreover, the vertical mill itself has a separator, and no additional powder separator and lifting equipment are needed. The dust-containing gas in the mill can be directly collected by the bag dust collector or electric dust collector.
2. High production efficiency, saves more energy and environmental Friendly
The vertical mill adopts the material layer grinding principle to grind the materials, and the energy consumption is low. The power consumption of the grinding system is 20% to 30% lower than that of the ball mill, and the power saving factor is obvious as the moisture of the raw material increases. Compared with the ball mill system, the energy consumption of the vertical mill system is reduced by 30% to 40%. During the operation of the vertical mill, there is no noise of the metal balls colliding with each other and striking the liner, so the noise is small and it is 20 ~ 25dB lower than the ball mill. In addition, the vertical mill uses a fully enclosed system, no dust, and is environmental friendly.
3. Strong material drying ability
The vertical mill uses hot air to transport materials, and can control the inlet air temperature when grinding materials with large moisture, so that the product can reach the required final moisture. It can be dried in the vertical mill—pulverize into materials with a moisture content of up to 15% to 20%.
4. Easy operation and convenient maintenance
Equipped with an automatic control system, it can be remotely control and can be easily operated. By repairing the oil cylinder and flipping the boom, the roller sleeve and liner can be replaced quickly and easily, reducing the time of the shutdown.
5. Product quality is stable and easy to detect
The chemical composition of the product is stable and the particle gradation is regular, which is favorable to calcination. The time that the material stays in the vertical mill is only 2 ~ 3min, while it takes 15 ~ 20min in the ball mill. Therefore, the chemical composition and fineness of vertical mill products can be quickly determined and corrected.
6. Little wear and high utilization rate.
Because there is no direct contact between the grinding roller and the grinding disc during the operation of the vertical mill, the wear is small, and the metal consumption per unit product is generally 5 ~ 10g / t.
